After over 4 years, Subiartco will be closing its doors at 67/12 Sheen St and moving on to the next adventure. So join us on Sunday 12th September for your last chance to grab a piece of local art from our Subiaco gallery.
SubiARTco artists are thrilled to have a street gallery in Rokeby Road for the next two months. Each of our 8 artists are represented on a planter box down the median between Roberts Rd and Seddon St. Thank you to Subiaction, the City of Subiaco and the RAC for this fantastic opportunity. Most of the original artworks from these reproductions are available to view and for sale in our gallery.
Celebrate Subi - Art in the Park
18th April 2021
The paint was flowing and canvases came alive at Art in the Park as part of Celebrate Subi. Our very own Carollyn Rhodes Thompson facilitated the creativity as these budding artists enjoyed the workshop in the stunning council gardens.
Festival of Light
8th November 2020
Our artists loved participating in the South Fremantle Festival of Light, selling lots of Christmas gifts in front of the Sea Lanes building amidst live music and other artisan stalls.
Moments of Joy
6th June 2020
Subiartco participated in the Moments of Joy, with members painting amidst the streets of Subiaco in order to reactivate the city and spread joy.
South Subiaco Block Party
Desirables
13th October 2019
Subiartco was part of the South Subiaco Block Party, activating the newly named Gypsy Lane by adding colour to the walls and road with the locals. An event filled with food, drink, music, dancing and ball sports.
Café Café

Our ongoing exhibit "Desirables" was opened with special guest Stevie Belowsky and supported by Skigh Wines.

Subiaco Street Party
6th April 2019
Members of Subiartco participated in the Subiaco Street Party, displaying art on the streets and created chalk masterpieces on the sidewalk with passersby.

Subiartco participated in the "Subilicious" Fringe Festival, with members painting the town of Subiaco Pink in the evening.
POINT FRASER AND "DRAWN TO THE RIVER"
October 19th, 2017 - December 8th, 2018
Subiartco exhibited for over a year at the "Point Fraser" restaurant complex overlooking the beautiful Swan River. Ater fourteen months and our popular "Drawn to the River" exhibit from September 2018, Subiartco has officially ended our residency "On the Point".
THE COAST AND BEYOND
May 5th - 10th, 2018
Subiartco exhibited at the wonderful Hamptons City Beach with the theme "The Coast and Beyond". An evening function was held on Sunday May 6th.
SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

Subiartco held its final function in the main gallery before we move into 67 Wexford Street right across the road. We updated the spaces will all new artwork for the theme of Spring.
CELEBRATION AT SUBIARTCO

"SCULPTURES UNDER THE TREE" AND COMPETITION
May 19, 2017
Subiartco was proud to participate in the West Leederville Primary School Sculptures Under the Tree, and presented the opportunity for one lucky winner to display their work in our Subiaco gallery. Amelia Goodacre Paul, in Year 5, won the competition and now has her sculpture displayed in Subiartco's main gallery. Elizabeth James-Taylor, one of our talented artists, displayed beautiful woven basketry under the tree at West Leederville.
OPENING NIGHT
April 29, 2017
April 29 marked the official opening of Subiartco. It was a wonderful night with many special guests, including art lovers and curators, small businesses and North Ward Councillor for the City of Subiaco Stephanie Stroud, who gave a beautiful speech about the importance of art in the community. Councillor Stroud officially opened the gallery. Connie Petrillo from St John of God Hospital also attended the event, with Subiartco pledging ten percent of all sales from the opening night for research into better health outcomes for patients and the community. The funds were officially donated on May 12, 2017. Subiartco also officially thanked QUBE Developers for allowing the artists to showcase their work in the vacant spaces.
