Glass Artist

Myra Staffa works primarily in glass although she also uses ceramic techniques and painting as mediums of expression. 

Inspired by all travel but particularly in the Australian landscape, Myra likes to experience a site first hand to get a feel for the place. She takes photographs and makes notes on location and processes these back in the studio. 

Myra has been involved in many art exhibitions around Australia. Her work appears in both public and private collections including the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

A graduate of Curtin University and currently a part time lecturer in painting, drawing and printmaking at TAFE, Myra has had a long career in Art Education. She sees her teaching as a parallel life to her work as an artist.
